I'm Nik McFly. Moscow-born, now based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

I've been building things on the internet since 2000. Communities are the thread that runs through all of it — Bitcoined (the world's first Bitcoin community on Facebook, 2011), CreativeRussia (5K creatives on Slack), McFly.Aero (100K people around flying taxis), the Eurasian AI Association. Over 1M reach combined.

Then spent a few years running Hybrain — an AI agency that worked with 24 businesses across 33 countries, trained 1,500+ people, and shipped 25+ AI integrations. Co-founded what started as an AI meme and turned into an autonomous AI agent framework — 6,300 GitHub stars, million-plus reach, organic seed funding, all off a name nobody could say out loud.

Now I'm building a music AI company (stealth). 10M+ streams.

I play Go, I've been to 33 countries, I have a tattoo on my tooth, and I stoically survived losing 80 Bitcoin — the password just doesn't work. My family's background includes engineers, writers, intelligence agents, revolutionaries, and merchants. The habit of constructing meaning and building systems in eras of chaos was passed down to me — the only difference is that my tools today are AI and algorithms.

I build with Claude daily — it's my primary AI tool for everything from code to strategy.

I speak and organize AI events — hackathons, workshops, government programs, business conferences. I ran AIrathon 2024 in Almaty. I spoke at the AI analytics program for the Senate of Kazakhstan. I led a hands-on workshop for 50 journalists from 30 media outlets at MNU. I've spoken at Growth Forum Kazakhtelecom, Eurasian Mobile Summit, and others — 10+ events total. If there's a stage and the topic is AI, I've probably been on it.
